Dear Holy Cross Families and Friends,
We want to let you know about the Holy Cross community’s planning and response to the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation. Our continued focus is on guarding the safety and well-being of our entire school and parish community.
On March 10th the Diocese of Monterey announced that schools and parishes must cancel all indoor, non-essential gatherings of 50 or more people scheduled in March. This includes our Auction Fundraiser on March 21, 2020. In keeping with the Diocesan recommendation as well as recommendations from Santa Cruz County Health Services Division and the City of Santa Cruz, the Auction Fundraiser Havana Nights is postponed to October 24, 2020. SAVE THE DATE for October 24, 2020!
In the meantime, on Saturday, March 21, 2020 we will host an online auction that will run until Sunday, March 29 at 5:00pm. This online auction will be open to the public, and a link is coming very soon. We want everyone to participate and get excited! If you participate in online bidding, you will automatically be entered to win a special prize. Also, we will announce the winner of the 50/50 Raffle on March 30th so be sure to stay tuned and participate!
