Santa Cruz County has reentered the purple tier classification by the state of California. So, we must adapt immediately to these new circumstances.

On Saturday, November 28, our Vigil Mass in English will be celebrated OUTDOORS at 4:00pm. On Sunday, November 29, Masses will also be celebrated OUTDOORS in the courtyard: 7:00am, 8:30am, 10:30am (English) and 12:30pm (Spanish).

We will continue live-streaming the 5:00pm and 7:00pm Masses from the church; however, because of our reentering the purple tier, there will not be a congregation present for either of these live-streamed Masses.

Because we have entered the rainy season, it will be necessary to cancel outdoor Masses when inclement weather is predicted. Please check back here, on our parish homepage, where we will update this special status box that will indicate whether in-person Masses in the courtyard will be celebrated.

Please check back Monday afternoon, November 30, to make reservations for Mass the weekend of December 5/6.

Live Stream Mass Schedule: Saturday's at 5:00 p.m. (English) and 7:00 p.m. (Español) and Daily Mass at 8:30 a.m. (English).
Recorded Masses can be found under the Mass Videos tab (above), on Facebook in the Video section and on our YouTube Channel.

We are happy to have people from all around the world learning about our mission — the church in action today, as well as in history.

Holy Cross reaches out to its own, its youth and pre-school children, its elderly; and to people and communities sometimes alienated from the Church in various ways. Holy Cross, indeed, is about more than just buildings. Above all else, Holy Cross means family, community, inclusion, and service to others.

More Than A Building

We hope you enjoy visiting Holy Cross Catholic Church!

Holy Cross Catholic Church first began as one of the 21 California missions: La Exaltacion de la Santa Cruz, giving its name to the city and county. We continue to grow, with a mission for the 21st century.
